Horsfeeder Pro supports your horse’s health and well-being by providing small, frequent meals, helping to create a calmer feeding routine and a more peaceful stable. No feeding stress and no feed carts being pushed through the stable – just calm and structure. All horses can be fed at the same time, and everything is easily controlled via the app.
The specially developed feeder handles grain, pellets up to 8 mm and muesli containing chopped lucerne, so there is no need to change your usual feed. The hopper holds 16 litres, and a clear red indicator light shows when less than one kilo of feed remains.
In the app, you can monitor feed quantities and feeding times and view a log of the latest 20 feedings – giving you a complete overview down to the smallest detail.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much feed can the feeder hold?
Horsfeeder Pro has a capacity of 16 litres. The actual weight depends on the type and density of feed used.
Can it dispense both muesli and pellets?
Yes. Horsfeeder Pro is designed for muesli, grain and pelleted feed. It has been tested with pellets up to 8 mm and can also handle muesli containing chopped lucerne.
So there is no need to change to a specific type of feed just because you install a Horsfeeder.
What is the difference between the muesli and pellet settings?
It’s all about precision.
Pellets flow more easily through the feeder than muesli, so Horsfeeder adjusts the dispensing process depending on the selected setting.
Muesli: When 10 grams remain to be dispensed, the feeder starts fine-tuning in 1,000 ms steps.
Pellets: Fine-tuning starts when 25 grams remain, but with much shorter steps of just 300 ms.
The shorter steps used in the pellet setting can also work well with some types of muesli. If you want to optimise accuracy down to the last few grams, it may therefore be worth trying both settings to see which one works best with your particular feed.

With the free standard app, you can programme up to 6 feedings per day.
With the WiFi solution, you can programme an unlimited number of feedings.
This allows you to divide the daily ration into many smaller meals instead of just a few larger ones – without making extra trips to the stable.

This is particularly useful if you have several horses, liveries or simply want to keep an eye on feeding from home.

How do I know whether my horse has actually been fed?
Horsfeeder records the feedings.
In the app, you can check feeding times and quantities and view the history of recent feedings.
So you don’t have to wonder whether the horse has been fed – you can check it.
Does it simply dispense a “portion”?
No – and that is an important difference.
Horsfeeder Pro dispenses feed in grams.
You tell the feeder exactly how much your horse should receive – rather than “half a scoop” or “roughly one cup”.
This gives you consistent feeding regardless of who would otherwise be holding the feed scoop.
Can I give an extra meal without changing the entire feeding schedule?
Yes. With the WiFi solution, you can dispense an extra feed directly from the app.
This is useful if, for example, your horse needs an additional meal after training, or if you want to provide extra feed without changing the normal schedule.
Is it difficult to refill the feeder?
No.
You can either refill the feeder while it is mounted or remove the hopper and fill it separately.
It may sound like a small detail, but it makes a difference when the system needs to be practical every single day.

Horsfeeder Pro has a physical status light, allowing you to see at a glance if the feeder needs your attention. The light turns red, for example, when the feed level is low or if an error occurs – so you don’t have to open the app or manually check the feeder to discover that something needs attention.
If your horse is going to a competition, visiting the vet, staying out in the field overnight, or the stable is temporarily empty, Horsfeeder can easily be paused. When your horse returns, simply activate the feeder again without having to recreate the feeding schedule.

You programme your TDJ Horsfeeder from your phone to dispense precise amounts of feed according to your horse’s individual feeding plan.
Instead of asking different people to give “two-thirds of a cup” or “half a scoop”, Horsfeeder dispenses the amount in grams. This gives you much greater consistency, particularly in stables where several people are responsible for feeding.
